All you need is a computer and an Internet connection to
work with us. You can record dictations in our toll-free
telephone dictation machine (rate 9 cents/line) OR you
can use your personal digital recorder (rate 8
cents/line)

Data Transfer
Data is transferred using 128-bit SSL encryption, currently
the highest level of security, also used for online
credit card transactions. Our data transfer is powered
by reliable platforms of Verisign Inc. and Hillgraeve
Inc., leading Internet security service providers.
Data
Confidentiality; in-house measures
We have strict in-house IT security policy to ensure
client data confidentiality. Each employee has signed
CNDA (Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreements)
to ensure client data secrecy. Transcription lab PCs
do not have any external drives (CD, floppy etc.) installed.
Internet access to the transcription staff is limited
to few search engines (for searching latest drugs, terms
etc.). Downloading or uploading of data, checking of
emails is completely prohibited in the transcription
lab.
Business
Associate Agreement
In
compliance with HIPAA regulations, we prefer a business
associate agreement as well as a service agreement.

What
is your Turnaround Time? Or How soon can I get back
my transcribed records?
Our
normal delivery time for transcribed reports to our
clients in North America is 9:00am Eastern Standard
Time (valid for dictations dictated as late as 9:00pm
Eastern Standard Time the previous night). So we work
on a minimum 12-hour turnaround time.
What are your rates?
All
rates are based on a line definition of 65-character
with spaces. Only space between words is counted, while
empty lines, tabs, headers, footers, standard templates
and hard enters are not counted. We use standard word
count utility of MS Word to calculate characters with
spaces. For more clarity we can provide our daily 65-character
line-count figure during the free trial. For further

How do I pay?We
raise monthly invoices. We have an account with Silicon
Valley Bank, CA. You can mail your checks to the bank.

65-character
line standardizes different font types and sizes, varying
page margins and page sizes by calculating lines on
the basis of characters typed in a page.

charge for standard text?
No,
we just charge for the text that we type in. Any standard
text e.g. normal exam that is already there in the template
is not charged. For more clarity we can provide our
daily 65-character line-count figure during the free
trial.
Do
you customize reports to client formats?
