Take Care of Your Heart
Following measures will help in keeping a Healthy Heart and avoidance of lschaemic Heart Disease.
- Exercise 3-4 times a week or 20-30 minutes.
- Cycling and walking is better than weight lifting and jerky exercises.
- Don’t push it to exhaustion.
- Walk to work if possible.
- Use stairs instead of lift.

- Eat less meat and fewer eggs.
- Remove visible fat from meat.
- Use butter and cream sparingly.

- Eat more vegetables and fruits.
- Avoid excess of salt and condiments.
- Don`t smoke.
- Avoid marriage among two diabetics as far as possible.
- Periodic medical check up.
- Regular follow up in cases of Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus and raised Blood Cholesterol.
- Maintain Ideal Body Weight Tailor caloric intake to your age and activity.
- Limit your waistline to the maximum of 38 inches in men and 33 inches in women (lesser the better).
- Reducing eating speed.
- Stopping other activities while eating.
- Learn to relax. Nothing is so good or bad thinking makes it.
- Put aside some time,just for yourself, and remote from the job! routine.
- Go to parks/countryside.
- Enjoy recreational leave.
- Be communicative and social.
- Avoid isolation. Share with others.
- Don`t create enemies. if you can`t make friends.
- First deserve. then desire.
- It is to prevent subsequent attacks in those patients who already have heart problem. 5 years mortality in patients who continue smoking is double than that of smokers who quit it after first attack. so it is advisable to leave smoking.
- Lowering of cholesterol in blood also reduces risk of further attacks. Use the drugs protecting heat as advised by your doctor.
